Responsible for development of new Rock Tools sales in the Western Region of Canada and increase the market share with existing customers. You will need to interact with current and potential customers for face-to-face discussions, technical support and product education for both underground and on-surface applications of percussive drilling. You will be expected to formulate detailed marketing plans and implement specific sales programs to target accounts under the direction of the Canadian Sales Manager. You will be involved in trade exhibit shows to promote the assigned products. Expected to give a monthly and quarterly sales budget analysis, report the progress of the product sales development along with providing test results from different potential customer drill sites. The ideal candidate will have a background of Rock Tools and application, drilling knowledge or experience and/or a willingness to learn. You must have computer skills in Microsoft Office, a working knowledge of AS400, strong communication skills and business math. Japanese language in addition to English is a plus. You must have a combination of either an Associate’s degree from an accredited college and/or five years’ experience selling Rock Tools in the Canadian Mining or Construction markets.
