Environmental Coordinator
• one full-time position, located in Timmins, Ontario

Supporting the Environmental Manager, you will oversee all aspects of environmental affairs including compliance and liaise with various government bodies to expedite permitting for our mill and mining operations as we continue to develop and grow our business. You will be involved in monitoring, assessing, measuring, and validating environmental information, report writing, and updating documents.

You have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, earth sciences or related degree as well as a working knowledge of applicable federal and provincial legislation, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong computer expertise, and the ability to work with minimal supervision on various tasks. You have a valid Class G driver’s licence and are prepared to demonstrate Lake Shore Gold’s core values in Safety, Health, and the Environment and Code of Conduct.
