*Job Description

  • Achieve agreed levels of customer support and sales of Specialty Lubricants within the Mining sector 
  • Assist in the generation of new business within the Mining sector
  • Provide customer staff training and conduct trade shows and seminars as and when they are required
  • Develop a consistent and professional level of visitation for current customers and a defined level of prospecting for new business
  • Identify new sales opportunities for products  
  • Identify opportunities within the mining industry to further the Partnership philosophy with customers (ie. stock control/rationalisation, reduce costs)
  • Maintain Specialist knowledge of the Lubrication Equipment and Lubricants used in the Mining industry
  • Develop and foster a consultative salesman image with customers
  • Establish relevant programs, which will assist the customer in reducing equipment downtime and increase profits
  • Train relevant mine personnel in lubrication systems, lubricants, and H,S&E issues 


  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer  
  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED or relevant work experience in the mining industry
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience required
  • Experience with mills/kilns and hydraulic excavators, and good understanding of mining industry and equipment preferred
  • Mining lubricants experience preferred
  • Knowledge of fault diagnosis and installation of new systems as well as monitoring/diagnostics equipment highly desirable
  • Knowledge of grinding mills and specialist open gear lubrication 
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles and large earth-moving equipment (i.e. draglines, stacker/reclaimers, shovels, coal handling plants)
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Effective team player
  • MS Word and Excel are required
