Job Description

SR. ENGINEER, CIVIL/DEWATERING Key Lake Operation POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the technical superintendent, you will be responsible for providing leadership and technical direction to civil/dewatering technologists to ensure the ongoing operation and monitoring of the dewatering systems, oversight of DTMF flood-back monitoring and fresh water diversion, site-wide surveying, stockpile management and grade control and geotechnical monitoring of the Key Lake facilities.  You are also responsible for providing technical support related to the operation of the reverse osmosis water treatment plant.  You will also be working closely with the corporate geotechnical group to help define long term strategies for the continued performance improvement and operation of site geotechnical facilities and water management. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS  Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft


  • Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills 
  • Survey experience
